Factory of Us held a seminar at Özyeğin University to share the power and future potential of digitalization in design with students. The session explored how digital tools are revolutionizing design processes and the advantages they offer compared to traditional production methods.

During the seminar, examples and practical insights were shared on how digitalization is transforming the design world. Topics such as 3D printing, digital modeling, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and other digital tools were discussed, showing how they are integrated into design processes to improve efficiency and offer sustainability benefits.

The students were shown how digital technologies not only bring speed and efficiency but also offer great opportunities for creating customized and sustainable designs. Particularly, examples were given from Factory of Us, where recycled materials and biocomposites are used in digital designs.

The discussion on the impact of digitalization in design also included insights into how technologies like artificial intelligence, data analytics, and robotic processes are shaping the future of design. It was emphasized that digitalization is bringing significant changes not just in aesthetics but also in the functionality of design.

The students gained inspiration from this seminar to better understand the endless possibilities digitalization offers and the potential it holds in the design field. At Factory of Us, we hope to help young designers become more aware of digitalization and play a significant role in the design world of the future.
